I took these photographs shortly after the 1st 2 photos. I love how the tree trunks create unusual positive shapes and negative spaces in the image. In these images the shapes seem to dominate the colors, creating an interesting movement through the image. The color palette of these images is predominantly orange-blue. I was on a roll that morning. These photos are the last that I took with my 4x5 camera along Girdner Trail for 2011.
I took these photos with my Toyo METAL FIELD CAMERA with 4x5 back, Nikon NIKKOR-SW 90mm f4.5 lens, and 4x5 Fuji VELVIA 100 color slide film.
