Fall leaves on 3 Sycamores behind a large rock and water in the wash along Pipeline Trail in west Sedona.


I returned to the "3 Amigos" the next morning. This time I photographed them from about 50 feet to the right of the previous photos. I really liked the evergreen tree next to the "3 Amigos" in the above photo. I also photographed this scene vertically as a portrait, which creates a different feeling and energy. I really liked the compositions from this angle of view, so I also took a vertical/portrait photo of the bottom image as well.

I took these photos with my EBONY SV810 camera and Fuji VELVIA 100 color slide film. For the above photo, I used the Schneider SUPER-SYMMAR XL 150mm f5.6 lens. For the bottom photo I used a Rodenstock APO-SIRONAR-S 360mm f6.8 lens.
