The leaves on the Aspens change about the same time or slightly before the Maples. So photographing the Aspens and Maples is a real challenge. I started photographing the Aspens in June 2008 when I was hiking up Mount Humphreys. They kind of grew on me, and now I really love them. So then I started hiking to photograph the Aspens. Like the Sycamores, 2008 was a bust for photographing Aspens. I could not clearly see what I wanted to photograph. 2009 turned out much better; I took several photos that I love. And here they are...
