SUNDAY - Visiting with Aunt Dory, Paul and Rochelle and Miles and Rhianna, and Mike

Sunday morning we drove to Gonzales to have lunch with Paul and Mike at a restaurant called the CABIN®. The CABIN® serves Cajun food, including crawfish etouffee, which made me very happy. They also offered great cornbread and fried alligators tails. We got caught up on family events and everybody while enjoying a yummy lunch. As you can see, Mike and Paul are doing great.

After lunch we returned to Paul and Rochelle's home to visit some more. Aunt Dory was waiting for us when we arrived. So we talked and visited some more. Aunt Dory looked good and seems to be settling into her new home. Rochelle arrived a little later with Miles and Rhianna and their cousins Madison and Olivia. The kids went to town playing pool and air hockey in the front room, which occasionally got a little noisy. But hey, they are kids. Paul and I discussed Area 51 and the economy and the Chinese sheet rock that is causing problems with homes containing it. Paul also explained the Micro$oft CONNECT® to me, which sounds like a real NINTENDO Wii® killer. We spent the whole afternoon visiting with Paul and Rochelle and Mike and Aunt Dory. We finally said our goodbyes as the evening rolled in and drove back to Lafayette. And such was our Sunday visit for this year.
