Monday morning Marc and I made our way to COYOTE BLUES®, a Mexican restaurant by the Acadiana Mall, to have lunch with our (and Dad and Mom's) old buddy Mike Gold. Mike's wife Cathy was working and could not make it. However, Mike did bring along his Grandson DJ, who is looking good and talked a fair bit. Mike was in fine form and up to plenty of trouble. We talked about BP and current events in Lafayette and enjoyed some great Mexican food. Mike is looking good and has lost about 50 pounds. We did not get any news about Cathy on this trip. After a couple of hours visiting we said our goodbyes and moved on.
Afterwards Marc and I ran a few errands and then picked up Aunt Lou and drove over to Honore and Marie's home for a visit.
