Monday morning Marc and I picked up some flowers at ">FLOWERLAND® and visited with Pearl for a while. Pearl was already missing cousin Julie, who just moved to Houston about a month ago. Then we visited Mom and Dad's graves and put the flowers on Mom's grave and remembered them fondly.
Then we visited Aunt Lou and Felix and Gai and drank some coffee (well Marc did, I am not the coffee drinker) and finally said our goodbyes.
Then we drove to Houston. We met up with Julie at RUGGLES®, which tragically was closed on Mondays (and even more tragically, is now permanently closed). So we decided to try the 5115 GRILLE® in the Galleria. Along the way we got a call from cousin Andy Pardue. We talked for a while. Unfortunately, Andy could not join us. So we made our way to the 5115 GRILLE® and enjoyed an incredible dinner. And of course we visited with Julie for quite a while. Then we were off to the airport hotel for the night.
The next day we caught our flight back to Phoenix and drove home. And such was our Louisiana visit for 2010.
