Thursday morning I hiked up Thunder Mountain. Nothing like an invigorating hike to stimulate my appetite for yummy Thanksgiving Dinner. Snow covered the San Francisco Peaks, and yes the temperature was a bit nippy on top. All part of the adventure! After my invigorating hike, I went home and got cleaned up.
Then Adele and I went over to Marc and Keri's for Thanksgiving Dinner. Already present were Marc, Zuzu, Keri, and Jackie Chan (not pictured here). Nate and Sarah were also around with their kids Dia and Nikko , and Nikko was very pleased with himself for finishing that puzzle! On orders from the boss, I am including the obligatory cute picture of Dia on one of Marc's footrests. The last to arrive were Luna and Joey, conveniently saving my butt for being late. Thanks guys! Adele prepared a fresh organic salad and orange cranbery relish, Luna baked a vegan pumpkin pie. Keri prepared everything else, including the turkey and some awesome elote (with some help from Marc). Keri and Marc had the food ready to go when we arrived, so we sat down to eat pretty quickly. Great food and company, I loved every minute. We visited for most of the afternoon. Merci beaucoups Keri and Marc and Adele and Luna for preparing an awesome Thanksgiving Dinner. Adele and I mellowed out the rest of the day, digesting our food. And such was our Thanksgiving day for 2010.
