Saturday morning Marc and I slept late and took it easy. We got ready and over to Saint Edmond's Church a few minutes before the ceremony began. Eric and Emily got married in the same church as Carol and Robert did back in August 1996. Marc and I got to briefly visit with Eric and Kevin and a couple of the Groomsmen. Then we met Julie, who was exploding with joy. Then Rusty, who was also really happy for Eric. And even Pearl (formerly with FLOWERLAND), who was hanging out with Julie. John conducted a smooth gentle ceremony. His sermon was on point and just the right length. Claire and Cathy arrived just after the Wedding started. I did not get a chance to meet the Bride's family or even the Bride before the wedding, although they were also very happy and lots of fun. The ceremony seemed to zip by fast, and before you knew it, we were done and out the church doors. I was happy to see that Uncle Tom and Ellen, along with Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Lou, attended the ceremony.

After the Marriage ceremony, we left for the Wedding Reception out around Erath.
