THURSDAY - Turkey Day

Thursday morning I got up and hiked into Fay Canyon. I had fun exploring some ridges that were on my to-do list to check out for ruins. I did not find any ruins, but I enjoyed my adventure explroing for them. Then I returned home and got cleaned up for our Thanksgiving meal.

This year we went to L'AUBERGE DE SEDONA for Thanksgiving dinner. No cooking, no cleaning, no unhappy people; it was best of all possible worlds. We picked up Marc and met Adele's daughter Luna at the restaurant. Luna was waiting for us when we arrived. The weather was comfortable, so we sat outside by Oak Creek. The ducks were out in force, so we were constantly observing beggar ducks walking around the tables and splashing in the creek. Luna edits a food blog, so she was taking photos of all of the plates of food. And the food was yummy and great as usual. After eating and visiting for a couple of hours, we reluctantly said goodbye and reutnred home. We dropped off Marc and mellowed out for the rest of the day. And such was our Thanksgiving for 2014.
