TUESDAY - Dining at PREJEAN'S® restaurant on the Day After Christmas

Early Tuesday morning, when normal sane folks such as myself were sleeping, Marc and Steve got together with Paul and Robert and Felix to shoot rockets. You know, the old ESTES®-type rockets. Paul had a couple of stage-1 rockets and a stage-2 rocket. They found a suitably deserted place to lanuch the rockets and went after it. Tragically, they lost the stage-2 rocket. At least, that is what they told me upon returning.

Meanwhile, back home on the range, Mom and Jackie conspired with Aunt Dory and Carol to visit some quilting shop out near Sunset. Mom and Jackie rolled out of the house around 9:00 AM, a more reasonable hour, and headed off to the quilting shop. I bravely saved the world once again at QUAKE2®. (What can I say, I have a 1-Track, Save-The-World mind.)

Eventually, we met up for lunch at PREJEAN'S® , a Cajun seafood restaurant around Sunset. In fact, PREJEAN'S® is conveniently located near the quilting shop where Mom, Jackie, Aunt Dora, and Carol were shopping. Since we were split into 3 different groups, we all arrived in different cars. I came in my own car. Upon entering the restaurant, the Christmas Alligator was staring me in the face. Mom, Jackie, Carol, and Aunt Dora were already present when I arrived. Rochelle, Miles, Paul, and Robert, as did Steve and Marc. You may note a curious fact; Marc and Steve are wearing the same shirt. Mom gave Marc, Steve, and me all the same shirt. I wisely chose not to wear mine for lunch. After lunch, we went our separate ways. Mom, Marc, Jackie and Steve, and I returned back to Mom's place. Aunt Dory, Paul and Rochelle and Miles, and Carol and Robert all went back to Aunt Dory's place. Marc immediately packed up and returned to the Big Easy. I stayed for a couple of hours longer, then left in the evening. And that was my Cajun Christmas for 2000 :-)
