I drove home Friday afternoon. Mom was baking a delicious lemon cake when I arrived. I unloaded my car, which took a while on account of I had a ton of gifts this year. After unloading my car, I visited with Mom as I put bows on all of my gifts. Yep, I spared no effort this year to make my gifts present-able. Not only did I wrap my gifts, I also put bows on them. Just call me Mister Chivalry. I used so many bows I ran out and had to borrow some from Mom's auxiliary stash. Mom then showed me all of the latest and greatest improvements to her house, including her new home entertainment system. Mom now has a better sound system than most of us stereo-philes. What an embarassing development! However, watching movies at Mom's will now be a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Obviously, I also saw the Christmas Tree. Mom also updated me on all of the latest happenings in Louisiana. Hard to believe so much happens in Louisiana. Maybe we should make Louisiana its own separate country :-)
