Mom and Aunt Lou drove into Houston for the annual Houston Quilting Convention at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston. After Dad passed away, Mom and Aunt Lou had attended a couple of these conventions. For reasons that I no longer recall, Jackie flew in and joined them. As I mentioned in July , Jackie's college friends Virginia and Ed recently moved to the Houston area. So they joined us for a dinner one night as well. If I recall correctly, Mom and Aunt Lou and Jackie were all staying at the hotel in the GREENWAY PLAZA, which was about a mile from my apartment. I do not recall anything else about the dinner or the visit. What I do recall is that this convention was the last one that Mom attended. So that is why I am including these photos.
