Richard left at 06:00AM; too early for us to see him off at the airport. He invited us up to his home in Coloradoe the next time he is home. Robbin and Joshua left the night before if I recall correctly.
We managed to leave our hotel on time and get to Baton Rouge a little early actually. So we met everybody (meaning Paul and Rochelle and Aunt Dory, Michael Paul, Eric and Lynne. Miles and Rhiana stayed with Butch and his wife Lisa in North Carolina to go to the Dominican Republic) at SAMMY'S GRILL for lunch. Everybody was looking great :-) Aunt Dory is still unsteady on her feet. We had another fantastically yummy lunch; Marc even got the Cajun cornbread; cornbread smothered in crawfish étouffée. While enjoying a delicious lunch, Mike and I discussed:
Afterwards, we returned to Paul and Rochelle's house to visit some more. Eric and I got to talking about our Fathers. In particular, talking about our parents and mistakes that they made.
Then we walked into the kitchen and had a general discussion on:
Paul said that his Dad was doing great. He was also helping his Mom with various things.
On the new vehicle front: Paul was in a 2nd car accident: some teenagers hit his truck and totaled it, so he bought another F150 truck. Mike also got hit around LSU: a college girl ran a 2 way stop and totaled his SUV. I guess the past year was a time for car accidents...
We finally said our goodbyes around 09:00PM and drove back to our hotel and slept fitfully. And such was our visit to the Baton Rouge Pitre Clan for 2015.
