THURSDAY - Celebrating Jackie's Birthday

Lunch at CLARKLEWIS

We ate lunch at a new restaurant called CLARKLEWIS. I got a salad and a hamburger and drank 2 glasses of red wine; I could not safely eat anything else on the menu due to Gall Bladder and Kidney issues :-( The food was nice. Afterwards, we drove over to CASE STUDY CoffeeHouse, where Marc and Steve got coffee and the boys got hot chocolate. Jackie and Sophia went into FROCK, a clothing store, to shop for clothes. Aye Carumba! Well, it was her Birthday... Eventually, we hooked up again and returned home.

We then shared some of Jackie's Birthday Cake (chocolate, of course), and Jackie opened her Birthday gifts. Jackie was happy with her gifts. She and Marc then walked around the neighborhood, while I hugged the toilet (too much Magnesium Citrate!). My only bad eating day of the trip; I felt pleased with myself for eating so well on a holiday.

After Jackie opened her Birthday gifts, Steve took the boys to fencing. Sophia went off to play computer games. Jackie and I visited with Marc briefly before he walked to ENCORE AUDIO to shop for headphones. Then Jackie and I reviewed family photos for about 90 minutes before PHOTOS crashed. Jackie and I are discovering lots of photos that I never saw before, and I feel really happy about that. I feel like I am getting a 2nd chance to know Mom and Dad. Then Jackie went off to do other things. And that is all I recall about celebrating Jackie's Birthday for 2015...
