Monday morning I drove over to Big Basin Redwoods State Park and photographed the amazing Redwood trees 1 last time, said my goodbyes to hte trees, and bought some gifts for home. Afterwards, I zoomed back to my hotel room, got cleaned up, and checked out. I then drove over to Jackie's beloved coffee shop CAFE BORRONE® and amazingly found a parking space in the garage next to the cafe. I met Jackie and the kids and her friend Monica for a fast lunch, as they had already finished eating. Steve was still working, so sadly I missed him. I ordered a quick lunch and ate while visiting with Jackie and Monica. Jackie left just before I finished eating to pick up Steve. So I continued visiting with Monica and the kids.
Jackie and Steve were running late, so I ended up leaving for the airport before they got back. I said my goodbyes to Monica and the kids and drove to the airport. I did not have enough time to fill my gas tank, so I got burned on that. Then I hopped into the shuttle and just before getting to my terminal realized that I still had my rental car keys. So I rode the shuttle back to the rental car agency and just made it back to my terminal in time for my flight. Fortunately, the rest of my trip home was uneventful. And such was my trip to San Francisco!
