Sunday morning Jackie and Steve took the kids to the boys' school friend Ellie's Birthday Party in the Blue Mountains. I stayed home, slept late, and enjoyed the silence. Around noon I went for a walk. A couple of blocks from Jackie and Steve's house I saw some horses in a small pasture. 1 of the horses was a pygmy or dwarf horse. He hung out on his own. I watched them eating for a few minutes than continued on my walk.
After passing the horses I continued walking down the road to a park with cool-looking Eucalyptus trees. The trees bordered both sides of the street. They had wavy, curvy, twisty branches that I loved. Strangely enough, their trunks and branches resembled Sycamore trees. I kept thinking that they were really Sycamores trying to fool me. I walked up and down the street observing and touching these magnificent trees. After about an hour, I felt hungry. So I walked up the road to EDEN CAFE® and ate some lunch. Afterwards I walked back to Jackie and Steve's house.
Later that afternoon Jackie and Steve and the kids arrived home from their adventure. That evening Rick came over for dinner. We watched GRAND DESIGN®, about adventurous people who design and build their dream homes. And that was our Sunday.
