FRIDAY

Friday morning started the usual way: Steve drinking his coffee in relative peace until the kids made their way downstairs and slowly got around to eating their breakfasts. Marion joined us with her fluffy bunny slippers. James and Sophia got a real kick out of these slippers and each wore 1 for a while.

Marion was attending a workshop in Sydney, so she left early. I assisted Steve and Jackie in getting the kids ready for school. Strangely enough, John did not want me to tie his tie. James can tie his tie on his own. We eventually made our way to the BLUE PLATE BAR & GRILL® for lunch. This time was a little disappointing. No crawfish etouffee; the food was nice but kind of adequate. However, I did enjoy my food. Afterwards, we walked over to BAR PISTEVO® so Jackie and Steve could drink their afternoon coffee. Then we walked around the area, checking out the various restaurants and shops of interest. We then returned to the house to pick up the kids. Kind of a low key day.
