SATURDAY - Lunch at RAFI'S® Armenian Restaurant

Saturday we went to an Armenian restaurant called RAFI'S®. We parked near a cool Armenian church. In fact, it was so cool I took a couple of pictures of the church after lunch. After arriving at the restaurant, Sophia got upset that she could not sit next to Jackie. She became a real drama queen. John hammed it up as usual. James behaved well and was fascinated with the restaurant. The food was similar to the Morroccan food we ate the previous week. The food was nice but unexceptional. Afterwards we walked back past the church.

We dropped off John and James for a playdate with a friend. Jackie wanted a coffee, so we stopped at EDEN CAFE® for coffee. Then we drove around Jackie and Steve's neighborhood looking at the houses; several were elaborate and beautiful, a couple looked gaudy.

Marion returned from her workshop, packed and drove home. Stephen joined us to watch a rugby game: the WALLABEES (Australian) versus the ALL-BLACKS (New Zealanders). Steve and Stephen took the match very seriously. James was bored with the game and fell asleep. John was totally into the game. I had not watched much rugby, so I spent a fair amount of the game asking questions about what was going on. Steve and Stephen helpfully explained the game to me. At this point I might actually be able to follow the game. The WALLABEES won the game, and all was well in the world :-)
