WEDNESDAY - Lunch at HIRO'S®

Jackie and Steve and the kids arrived late Tuesday night, actually just after midnight Wednesday morning. So they slept late to recover from the long long flight from Australia to San Francisco and on to Phoenix and the subsequent drive from Phoenix up to Sedona all in 1 day. So we met up at HIRO'S® restaurant, a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar in uptown Sedona around 1 in the afternoon. The kids loved the sushi served at the restaurant, although John had some difficulty swallowing the octopus. Adele wore her reindeer antlers, which look really cool. Sophia loved them and ended up borrowing a pair for the whole visit to Sedona. Marc and Keri joined us for lunch as well. John was his usual rascally self. James and Sophia were relatively well behaved the whole time.

After lunch Adele had to run some errands. The rest of us all went over to Marc's house to visit and let the kids play NINTENDO Wii®. We had a very mellow enjoyable afternoon talking. I finally left that evening. Later that night Adele's younger daughter Christy arrived. And that was our first day of Christmas visiting.
