On the way back to Jackie and Steve's home, we stopped off to visit Jackie and Steve's friends Jim and Carol. Jim and Carol lived on the way back, so it was not really a detour. They showed us their home, including the garage. They even let Jackie sit on Carol's motorbike . After coffee, cookies, and conversation, we departed once more for Jackie and Steve's.
After getting back, we then immediately hopped back in the car and went to eat dinner at another French restaurant called VIDA® . Curiously enough, VIDA® is only a couple of blocks from the other French restaurant THE LEFT BANKE®. I guess the French love Menlo Park... So we celebrated Mom's Birthday Dinner at VIDA®. The restaurant also had a couple of nice fish dishes, including a grilled salmon. Afterwards, we returned to Jackie and Steve's and watched the Dennis Miller special. And such was our celebration of Mom's Birthday this year.
