Friday Mom, Marc, Jackie and Steve, and I drove to Pleasanton to visit Carol and Robert . Pleasanton is north of the San Francisco Bay. From Jackie and Steve's home to Carol and Robert's home took us about aus about an hour. We met Carol and Robert at their home, along with Robert's parents Norman and Bernice , and his sister Diane . Carol and Robert have a very nice, spacious, elegant dining room table . We then motored into downtown Pleasanton to eat lunch at ALBERTO'S CANTINA®, a great Mexican restaurant. ALBERTO'S CANTINA® had all sorts of Burritos, the mark of every great Mexican restaurant. I got a beef burrito that was made in Heaven; I loved it. We all pigged out. Then we headed back to Carol and Robert's home to digest our food. Robert showed us the pumpkin that he and Carol grew in their back yard. No, your eyes are not mistaken; the pumpkin is actually yellow. Carol and Robert offered us some apple and pear pie, along with some cranberry, bluebbery, and apple pie. We sat around and debated the ongoing presidential election fiasco. Around 4:00 we said our goodbyes and headed back to Jackie and Steve's home. We then spent the evening enjoying the joys of TIVO® and fast-forwarding through commercials on recorded programs.
