We celebrated Thanksgiving lunch at Jackie and Steve's home. Jackie and Steve's friend Dave Rudy joined us. Dave was a classmate of Jackie's at the Louisiana gift high school program in Natchitoches. Here is Dave and Steve and Jackie just before we dug into the food. Here is a disappointing shot of Dave (back of his head), Steve, Jackie, Mom, and Marc . Unfortunately, my digital camera does not take good pictures in the shade. We ate and drank too much, as usual. For Wendy's benefit, I left those pictures out. Actually, I was just too drunk to take pictures of us eating and afterwards. We had entirely too much alcohol lying around the place: my Claredon Grenache, some red wine that Dave brought with him, and Steve's own impeccable red wines. Heck, I'm just mentioning this to make cousin John Dempsey jealous. Later that evening we watched SOUTHPARK®, the legendary Civil War episode. We also watched the DREW CAREY SHOW® and THE MAN SHOW®. Finally, we called it a night. And such was our Thanksgiving for 1999.
