My cousin Mike's Birthday was the week after Paul's. Mike lives in Baton Rouge. We celebrated Mike's Birthday a week or 2 after his actual Birthday. Mom and I drove into Baton Rouge from Lafayette that morning, as did our cousin Felix and his wife Gai. Marc and his girlfriend Adele drove in to Baton Rouge from New Orleans. We celebrated Mike's Birthday at COPELAND'S®, a great New Orleans restaurant which branched out to other cities, like Baton Rouge. The COPELAND'S® in Baton Rouge is located on Essen Lane just off of I-10 at Exit 160. Mom and I, along with Marc and Adele, got to COPELAND'S® first. Our waitress was kind enough to photograph us sitting at the table. Felix and Gai arrived shortly afterwards. They had been shopping at an outlet mall just past Baton Rouge. Finally, Mike, the guest of honor, the birthday boy himself, arrived. As usual, we pigged out and ate too much, but it was soo good. We got a couple of appetizers to start, then ordered our main courses. After finishing that off, we were too full for desserts. Ah well, maybe next year.

Mike is doing well and looking good, as you can see from the pictures. He said his father is doing well also. He was still looking to sell his house, eventually.
