I hiked up Chimney Rock early on March 30, 2013. A fog lay over the land, creating a really cool and atmospheric look. I exposed several sheets of color film (Fuji VELVIA 100 and Kodak PORTRA 400), and I liked these 2 exposures the best. Sadly, the Kodak PORTRA 400 sheets came out blurred. I love the Lavendar to Purple-colored sky with soft pastel yellow-orange highlights on the clouds. Just another awesome sunrise here in Sedona.
I took this photo with my Ebony SV810 Camera with Rodenstock APO-SIRONAR-S 360mm f6.8 lens and Fuji VELVIA 100 color slide film. I set the aperture to f22 and the shutter speed to 4 seconds for the photo above and 1 second for the photo below.
