I hiked up Chimney Rock early on March 10, 2013. The sky was clearing after a refreshing snow storm, with the sun rising over the Mogollon Rim. From the left is the base of Thunder Mountain, CoffeePot, the "Sail", Teacup, Sugarloaf, and west Sedona, with the Mogollon Rim in the background. I love how the sunlight streams across the Mogollon Rim from the right upper corner, lighting a triangular shaped area in the lower right corner of the photo. The image feels like a cold Winter sunrise; magical.
I took this photo with my Fuji GA645Wi Medium Format Rangefinder Camera with 45mm f4 lens and Fuji VELVIA 100 Slide Film. I set the aperture to f13 and the shutter speed to 1/60 second.
