Thursday I slept late and recovered from my long journey the day before. I made my way over to Aunt Lou's for her Birthday lunch. Already present were Aunt Dory, Dallas Junior, and Felix and Gai. Aunt Lou made some yummy crawfish etouffee and her world famous red velvet cake. We spent the afternoon visiting and catching up on events and family. I actually visited with Aunt Lou until the evening and enjoyed every minute of it. Aunt Lou graciously gave me a piece of red velvet cake to go. I was going to eat it in 2 portions, that night and the next night. However, it tasted so good that I ended up eating the whole piece that night. And it was incredible!
