SATURDAY - Boiled Crawfish with the Nelsons

Saturday morning Mom and I drove to New Orleans to visit and eat lunch with Aunt Nell and Uncle Norman and Charlie and Jennifer. Jennifer (shown here with Aunt Nell and me, courtesy of Charlie taking this picture :-) ordered up some boiled crawfish for lunch. Mom insisted that I take a picture of the crawfish so everybody would know how good they were :-) Of course, Aunt Nell and Uncle Norman and Mom started eating them mudbugs before everybody else. Marc (back to camera) and Dara(his girlfriend) arrived a little while later and joined us in putting away the crawfish. Jennifer found a really good place for boiled crawfish, no doubt about it. Tragically, I do not recall the restaurant, so you will have to ask her about it. We all give the crawfish the thumbs up. Marc and Dara had eaten boiled crawfish the night before and were impressed with the size of these crawfish. Speaking of being impressed, Mom and I were very impressed with "Jennifer's house" :-) Charlie is playing an online computer game called EverQuest® and told us about his adventures playing it. After stuffing ourselves with crawfish, we still had a few left over. So Jennifer invited her next-door neighbor over to help finish off the crawfish. Aunt Nell and Jennifer then offered us some dessert, but we were kind of full at that point. We talked for a while, then Charlie was heading back home. So, I got Uncle Norman, Charlie (standing), Aunt Nell, Jennifer (standing), Mom, Dara, and Marc to pose for posterity. Then Mom was ready to go as well, so Mom and I and Marc and Dara bailed out and said goodbye.

We rolled over to Marc's place to check out his new TV and furniture, which both look really nice. In particular, his new HDTV has an awesome picture quality. We tested it on THE MATRIX®, and I humbly give it the thumbs up. After visiting with Marc and Dara briefly, Mom was ready to go home. So, we said goodbye, and I drove Mom home. And such was our Saturday with the Nelsons :-)
