Monday morning not much happened. Joan and I picked up some of our Christmas Dinner food at A LA CARTE®. We all then journeyed to RUTH's CHRIS Steak House® for lunch. After lunch Marc left town to visit his then-girlfriend Dara. Jackie ran some errands, while Steve and Joan did a little last-minute Christmas shopping. So Mom and I were minding the home front when my old friend Mark Fitzpatrick came over for a visit. Mark and I have known each other since 1974, when we were neighbors on Kimball Drive (My Mom graciously took this picture). Mark currently works in Europe, so we do not see each other too often. We usually get together every Christmas, and this year was no exception. I felt very happy to see Mark again. We caught up on family events and world events and what not. Mark showed us some of his pictures of their European vacations. Jackie finally returned from running errands and joined our conversation. Mark visited until the evening, when Anne (his wife) called him home for dinner. We had a nice visit and may get together again in 2 weeks (Mark does not return to Europe until then).
