THURSDAY - Celebrating Thanksgiving in Sedona

I got up practiced yoga and ran around the Chimney Rock loop trail to build up my appetite. Marc came by around 01:15PM and picked up Adele and me, and then we drove to ENCHANTMENT RESORT for our Thanksgiving meal (no cooking or cleaning up afterwards, a win-win situation for everyone). ENCHANTMENT RESORT held their Thanksgiving Buffet in their spacious ballroom as usual. Jackie and Steve and the kids already got our table, along with Adele's friend Cecilia and her children Soleil(?) and Alessio and their Nanny Carly. After we introduced ourselves and got our drinks, we proceeded load up at the buffet with yummy food. I felt that the chocolate cake was particularly moist and tasty and memorable :-)

After that delicious meal, we returned to our house to visit some more. Jackie and Steve and the kids gave me my Birthday gifts early so I could open them, which made me really happy :-)

After opening my gifts and visiting a while, we drove over to Marc's house to visit with Keri and her son Nate and his wife Felicia and her 2 daughters Bella and Drew, and Keri's dog Mojo. We sat and talked a while and mellowed out for the evening, while James, John, and Sophia played more Nintendo Wii®.

Keri gave me a great Birthday gift (also early): AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI by Paramahansa Yogananda, which I am currently reading. I recently watched the movie about his life called AWAKE: The Life of Yogananda on NETFLIX, so this gift was truly auspicious. Eventually we said our goodbyes, and such was our Thanksgiving celebration for 2015.
