In March, the doctors at M.D. ANDERSEN diagnosed Mom with Stage IV cancer. We all felt upset, Mom most of all obviously. She asked us to visit her around the weekend of the 18th. So I drove in from Houston, Marc drove in from New Orleans, and Jackie and Steve flew in from San Francisco. Mom wanted to visit the house that her Father Joseph Pitre grew up in, so we drove out to Washington to see it. We also stopped by Aunt Lou's house for a visit afterwards, if I recall correctly. Felix and Louis were also visiting, so we all talked and visited for a while.
