After the funeral we drove back to Tom and Michelle's house and visited with our Maddux relatives; namely Uncle Bill and Tom and Mike and Dave . Dave arrived a little while after we all met at Tom and Michelle's place, on account of flight delays leaving Colorado. We visited for the afternoon and evening and caught up with everybody's current situation (which I can no longer recall now in 2010). We never visited a whole lot when we were growing up, so I really enjoyed getting the opportunity to visit with my fellow Madduxes. We stayed in touch for a couple of years.
Now Marc stays in touch with Tom, who returned to California about 2 years later. And starting in September 2010 Marc and I drive out to California to visit them every year. And such was our visit for Uncle Dick's Funeral.
