After driving to and visiting the Crystal Cave, we then drove to the Roosevelt Tree Trail. The path led up a hill among huge Sequoia trees (rather a familiar story, eh? :-) ). The 1st really giant Sequoia tree that we came to was the Roosevelt Tree. The park even includes a little plaque to tell which tree is the Roosevelt Tree. A ncie feature of this trail is that even though you are above a road that loops around the hill, the elevation and slope are such that you do not see the road (or many other people for that matter).
