I hiked up Sugarloaf early on February 11, 2009. Sedona has received a rare heavy snow that stayed on the ground for a couple of days. The evening before I photographed the sunset on Thunder Mountain from Deadman's Pass. I loved the look of Coffeepot with snow all around. The morning light also turned out very dramatic and stunning. I photographed this scene with color slide (Fuji VELVIA 100), color negative (Fuji PRO 160S), and black and white negative (Ilford FP4+) film. The B&W exposure had a slight blur to it :-( I liked the look of the slide film (Fuji VELVIA 100) the best.

I took this photo with my EBONY SV810 camera and Rodenstock APO-SIRONAR-S 360mm f6.8 lens. I set the aperture to f32 and the shutter speed to 1/15 second.
