I hiked up Sugarloaf early on February 10, 2013, during a snow storm. I again was photographing with color slide (Fuji VELVIA 100) and negative (Kodak EKTAR 100) film. I felt surprised by how good the EKTAR looked compared to the VELVIA. I liked how the clouds softened the background mountains and buttes, causing CoffeePot to really stand out against these rock formations. Although I liked the look of the slide film (Fuji VELVIA 100) better.
I took this photo with my Toyo METAL FIELD CAMERA and Fuji FUJINON-C 300mm f8.5 Lens. I set the aperture to f22 and the shutter speed to 1/2 second.
