The last couple of days of 2010 Sedona received a heavy snow that stayed on the ground for several days. I was bracketing my exposures to determine the best way to meter a sunrise scene. I used Fuji VELVIA 100 color slide film, Fuji PRO 160S color negative film, and Fuji NEOPAN 100 Acros black and white negative film. I liked the look of VELVIA 100 the best. I found that I most liked the exposure metered for the highlights.
I took this photo with my Toyo METAL FIELD CAMERA with 4x5 back and Nikon NIKKOR-W 180mm f5.6 Lens. I set the aperture to f22 and the shutter speed to 1/15 second.
