THURSDAY - The Return Of The Glancy Man!

Lunch at BESAW'S restaurant

I woke up at 06:05AM feeling well rested; only 7 hours of sleep. I walked up to the kitchen, drank some tea, and enjoyed a pleasant conversation with Steve, John, and Sophia. Then I walked around Washington Park. I visited the Rose Garden, walked around the Japanese Garden, and then walked partway to the Hoyt Arboretum. I felt that I was out of time, so I turned around and walked back through the Rose Garden and on to the house.

We drove most of the way to BESAW'S restaurant, then walked the last 2 blocks to the restaurant. Marc and Scott arrived about 15 minutes later. I really enjoyed seeing Scott again; he was his usual ebullient self. Although his hair looked redder than I recalled. Scott talked up a storm and was lots of fun. After lunch we walked to the SOUTHLAND Whiskey Kitchen. The bartender was in a meeting, so the staff would not serve us any alcohol (an outrage if you ask me). So we walked back to the car, where Steve drove me and the kids home, while Jackie walked to ZUPAN'S Grocery Store. Marc and Scott stayed at SOUTHLAND Whiskey Kitchen to wait for the bartender to serve them.

Hanging out the rest of the day

After getting back to the house, I watched 2 episodes of DOCTOR WHO (the 2 parter with River Song and the Weeping Angels) with John and Sophia. Sophia did not care for the Weeping Angels and left after a while (they gave her nightmares). After watching the shows, I walked out to the back porch behind the kitchen and photographed the house and porch.

Then Jackie got home. So we visited for a while and discussed her resume. Meanwhile, Steve joined Marc and Scott for a whiskey drinking adventure at SOUTHLAND Whiskey Kitchen. Jackie then walked to get the car and drive it home, so I surfed the InterNet for camera gear while she was gone. The kids took their showers and then watched cartoons, mainly TEEN TITANS. And such was our Thursday.
