SUNDAY - Celebrating James and John Birthdays

I got up at 07:15AM again this morning feeling well rested and with a happy stomach :-)

I drank my morning tea and visited with Steve, Sophia, and John. James was a late waker; he seems less active in general than John and Sophia. Then I surfed the InterNet and practiced Yoga. Then I got a shower, and we left to pick up Jackie and Marion and the kids from the Episcopalian church. We then drove to PIAZZA ITALIA to celebrate James and John's Birthday meal. Jackie walked from the church to the restaurant to get some exercise. John got his beloved Tiramisu dessert, so he was a happy camper. I found the food adequate; not bad, just not FOGO DE CHAO.

After lunch Marc, Jackie, and the kids started walking home from the restaurant, while Steve drove Marion and me home. Then he drove back to NW 23rd Street to pick up Marc, Jackie, and the kids. So Marc and Jackie and the kids needed to exercise lunch off, but not too much exercise :-)

After everyone returned, James and John opened some of their Birthday gifts. Afterwards, they immediately ran downstairs to play more NINTENDO with Sophia. Marion and I watched Jackie wrap Christmas gifts for the Kilpatricks, while Marc returned to his room and Steve talked with his Dad.

I cannot recall what we did that evening, so it must have been pretty low key. Maybe watched TV or something. And such was our Sunday in Portland.
