Wednesday afternoon my throat started feeling sore and scratchy. I felt progressively worse Wednesday night. I ended up sleeping about 9 hours Wednesday night. I woke up Thursday morning feeling a little better, although my throat still felt sore and scratchy. So the day started out unpromising. However, I drank a lot of liquids and took a lot of Vitamin C, and by the afternoon I was feeling better. I actually developed an appetite. So by dinnertime I felt good enough to eat. So Luna and Joey came over, and we went to dinner.
This year we went to ENCHANTMENT RESORT® for Thanksgiving dinner. No cooking, no cleaning, no unhappy people; it was best of all possible worlds. Marc and Keri joined us at the restaurant. We enjoyed great food and company. Finally, after about 2 1/2 hours, we said our goodbyes and went home. And such was our Thanksgiving day for 2012.
