TUESDAY

Tuesday afternoon Marc, Jackie and Steve here with Rochelle and Paul in the kitchen) arrived from the Big Easy (New Orleans for you out-of-towners :-). A little while later Paul and Rochelle and Miles came by for a visit. Aunt Dory accompanied them, the same as Monday. We all sat around the living room and visited. Miles was once again in fine form, dancing and spinning. He also returned to building and demolishing Mom's wooden blocks. I tried unloading Marc's JAR JAR BINKS® doll on Miles, but he kept throwing the doll on the floor. Not only can the kid talk, but he has good taste... Cousin Felix arrived about an hour later. Marc and Steve broke out the beer for everybody. Paul let Miles sample his beer, along with Paul's coffee. We then sat down to dinner. In deference to Wendy and Joan, I have omitted pictures of the food and drinks. Miles got a little temperamental and only ate a little rice. Paul and Rochelle had a major workout trying to get Miles to eat anything. Finally admitting defeat, Rochelle and Miles, Aunt Dora, and Mom retired to the living room. Felix, Paul, Steve and Jackie, Marc, and I remained in the dining room discussing computer viruses, security, and encryption. Around 8:30 everybody was talked out, so Paul, Rochelle, Miles, and Aunt Dora departed. Felix subsequently departed as well. Mom, Marc, Steve and Jackie, and I then returned to our trivial pursuits. Mom and Steve read books. Jackie debugged her software from work . Marc listened to music, and I worked on various images for future webpages. And such was our Tuesday this Thanksgiving week.
