SUNDAY - Celebrating my Birthday

Sunday morning, I worked on my greek house image in POV-Ray®, another raytracing program similar to RADIANCE®. Steve once again rode Mom's stationary bike and then commenced to working. Mom worked through her mail. Jackie slept late, as usual :-) Marc drove in from the Big Easy. We then assembled and drove to CHARLEY G'S® for lunch. Steve ordered his customary bottle of red wine. As usual, he made a good selection. I ordered my customary crab cake dinner, which was also good. Since we were celebrating my birthday afterwards, Mom and Jackie ordered desserts to go. After chowing down at CHARLEY G'S®, we returned home to eat our desserts. Mom, Jackie and Steve ate the Bread Pudding and Lemon-Coconut Pie from CHARLEY G'S®. Marc and I devoured Dara's delicious peanut butter cheesecake. After pigging out on desserts, Steve and Jackie hummed "Happy Birthday" to me. Then they handed me my birthday gifts, and I opened them. Marc gave me a Celtic music CD (which I asked for) and some DVDs. Steve and Jackie also gave me some CDs and DVDs. In addition, Steve also gave me a really nice bottle of red wine (a Grenache), which we will drink for Christmas. Finally, Mom gave me a new computer monitor . After opening my gifts , I moved my old monitor out of my room and hooked up the new monitor. Marc and Steve then went shopping. Mom and Jackie sat in the living room discussing the problems of the world . Since we were celebrating my birthday, Jackie took this picture of Mom and me . After I got my monitor configured and running , Mom and Jackie went grocery shopping. After they got back, we visited a while. Later, Marc and Steve returned from their shopping expedition. A little while later I packed and drove home to Texas. And that was our Thanksgiving week for 2001 :-)
