In 2013 I was in the San Francisco area visiting family and photographed the Redwoods in Big Basin Redwoods State Park most mornings. Sadly, my camera (a Fuji GA645Wi) only had a maximum shutter speed of 2 seconds, resulting in almost all of my photos being severely underexposed. If I had carefully read the instruction manual (never!), then I would have known to set the camera to Manual Mode, the Shutter Speed to "Bulb", and used a cable release to exposed the film for longer shutter speeds. Ah well, now I know! And of course my mistake gives me an excuse to return to Big Basin Redwoods State Park sometime in the future.
