My Photography Trees Maples

I photographed this scene just before my favorite scene. I like the way that the rock outcropping on the right drives your eyes towards the Maples. A darker moodier image than usual: darker colors, quieter, much more geometric and less organic than other images.

I used Fuji VELVIA 100 again with my Ebony SV810 camera and Schneider SUPER-SYMMAR XL 150mm f5.6 lens.

I took the photo above several minutes later at the end of the defined wash. I like how the rocks and dead tree trunks in the foreground set the more colorful trees in space. Also, the rhythm that the rock outcropping on the right creates with the rock outcropping in the center of the image, leading your eye into the image. And of course the colorful orange and red Maple leaves. I also photographed this scene vertically for an interesting contrast. Another soft quiet Autumn morning.
