I was really lazy and hiked maybe 100 feet to a hill (more of a berm with a gland condition) and set up my camera. I photographed this scene a week before with my Phase One 645 AF camera and digital back. I did not feel happy with the results, so I came back a week later and photographed the scene again with my 8x10 camera and some sheet film. I took this photograph on January 02, 2009, a great way to start the New Year :-) I used movements for the first time on this photo. I used a little rise and tilt (although I tilted the front standard in the wrong direction. Fortunately I used a really small aperture and was shooting at basically infinity). I came back a week later and photographed this same scene again. Unfortunately, some jet came by and left a contrail in the sky, permanently ruining the sky in the photo. I guess it's a job for PhotoShop :-)
I took this photo with my Ebony SV810 camera and Schneider APO-SYMMAR XL 480mm f8.4 lens set to an aperture of f32 and shutter speed of 1/8 second with Fuji VELVIA 100 color slide film.
